Frequently Asked Questions

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

I charge & quote based on the piece or multiple pieces to be done in the one sitting.

I don’t work by an hourly rate.

For an accurate quote, I’ll need rough sizing in centimetres, placement & design concept.

If you require a carer or support person to accompany you for the duration of your tattoo appointment, you can bring one person along with you.

Let me know when making your booking so i can ensure we can accomodate.

I understand how exciting yet anxiety inducing your first tattoo can be!

First of all it’s always a great start to have a good rest the night before your appointment.

Avoid drinking alcohol, make sure you’re hydrated & have eaten prior (not a heavy meal just something in your stomach.)

Wear comfy clothes, make sure the area we are tattooing is easily accessible.

You’re more than welcome to bring snacks & refreshments to your appointment.

Headphones are a great distraction. If you’re light sensitive, the studio lighting can be quite bright, especially when laying on your back - sunglasses do the job

I do my best to make sure my clients are comfortable & at ease the whole way through. I always have lollie pops on hand (they are great lil distractions) & we can always take breaks as needed.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

A fresh tattoo is an open wound & will be prone to infection - just like any other open wound.

It is important to look after your tattoo carefully for the duration of the healing process.

  • DO wash your tattoo everyday with a mild unscented soap and running water
  • DO pat dry gently with clean towel after washing
  • DO be aware your skin will be sun sensitive - No sunscreen til it’s fully healed but just be cautious of the sun
  • DO put a small amount of moisturiser/tattoo cream on the tattoo when it becomes dry
  • DO clean tattoo with clean hands & clean the tattoo if it gets dirty
  • DO ask if you're unsure of anything!

  • DO NOT soak or submerge tattoo in any body of water - eg. NO SWIMMING & keep out of pools, spa’s, beach & baths!
  • DO NOT touch your tattoo other than to clean/moisturise/wrap - give it a slap if it's itchy!
  • DO NOT let anyone or anything touch your tattoo - eg. keep it off public gym equipment, don't let pets or anyone else touch your fresh tattoo
  • DO NOT apply fake tan til the tattoo is fully healed
  • DO NOT PICK AT IT!

You can use numbing cream, I just ask my client’s to let me know first & following correct application.

I recognise the Darkinjung people as the traditional owners of the land in which we work & live.

I extend my respect to all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders, past, present & emerging.

Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
